Born To Win

I have always thought that until I was set free,
life has been nothing more than a bore to me.
I didn’t know how to fix the trouble I was in,
till I learned that I was Born To Win. 

Suffering and pain were  all I could see
and when I did I would always flee.
When Jesus showed me what was happening within,
I finally realized that I was Born To Win. 

Sickness and poverty were very familiar to me,
I try to heal them both with a wish and herb tea.
But nothing would work that I put my faith in
till I knew in my heart that I was Born To Win.  

Dealing with people was hard for me to do. 
I did many bad things, luckily they didn’t sue.
Pockets were things I couldn't keep money in
till  using the power created by knowing that I was  
Born To Win.  

I want to thank God for changing my life.
He pruned and shaped it without a knife.
He urged me to share these words with you,
because you were Born To Win, too.
