BIOGRAPHY
My name is Linwood Mooring. I am a filmmaker, writer, director and
actor. I have
been doing small parts in movies for a few years now. I’ve
written 5 movie scripts and for years I have been trying to figure out how I
am I going to get my work noticed? I knew that I had a very slim chance
of getting one of my scripts into the hands of a major movie production
company. Finally, I decided to start a production company and make the
movie myself. I started learning as much as I could about producing movies.
Having a college degree in Computer Science made that task a little easier.
I got involved with independent film production companies, bought editing
software, a laptop, desktop computers, and a digital movie camera. Then I
made up my mind to make at least a 30-minute, short movie to learn more
about the business and to have something to show investors. After months
of hard work, I’ve finished my first 30-minute movie, “Fish Hook”. I hope
that you enjoy it and that you will be looking forward to seeing a feature
length version of “Fish Hook”.
